This urban walk is part of the Highway to Health Scheme – a simple and innovative scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to walk for leisure and good health. It uses pole signs at one kilometre intervals on an established route.

Route Type Highway to Health
Leaving from the Riverside Leisure Centre, turn left on the Urney Road and then left again on the Strabane By Pass.
Follow it for almost 2km and turn left onto Orchard Road. Turn onto Melmount Road, and follow it back until you reach the Urney Road, where you will return to the Riverside Leisure Centre
The route can be accessed at any point and walked in either direction.
