The lough covers an area of around 24 hectares or 60 acres.
The woodland plays host to a wide variety of wildlife. Keep an eye out for evidence of foxes, badgers and bats. Look up to the skies for a variety of birdlife such as Buzzards, Great tits, Blue tits and chaffinch. Down by the Lake you may see dragon flies, damsel fries and swans.
